Just because you spent hours setting up your room and you've gone home exhausted yet satisfied with your work (dare I say proud?), that doesn't mean that it'll be the same when you return the next day. I walked in this morning to see a number of people moving desks, tables, computers and carefully stocked bookshelves from their 'homes' and into other arrangements. Imagine my dismay...my shock... One lady finally looked up as I stood in the doorway with a dumbfounded look on my face long enough to ask, "Oh! Is this your room?" "Uh...yep.." is all I could muster as I took in my disheveled surroundings. Luckily my husband was there or I might have cried a little...
Why, you ask, would they do such a thing with Back to School night only two days away? Well, as much as I'd like to place blame on those who moved my stuff, it was actually my doing. Apparently it matters where you set up your computer work stations. So here is my tip to you...
Teacher Tip #2 If you're not flexible, take some yoga. You'll need it!
